The global objective of this grant scheme is to support improved access to and competitiveness on the national and international markets for Kosovo's agri-rural goods and services.

PROJECT PURPOSES:

With this investment company intended to improve overall business conditions and value chain through horizontal and vertical integration and energy efficiency in environmentally friendly conditions for fruits and vegetables production, collection, storage and processing. This company aims to provide the raw material - PURE for its processing unit.

ACTIVITIES:

-Complete the present processing line; -Building storage capacities for collecting, cooling and freezing fruits and vegetables 250 Tons of fresh fruits and vegetable – 250sqm (25m*10m*5m), epoxide, sandwiches, with internal exporter or conveyor, installation of the equipment and other installations for Colling and freezing; -Installing PV solar energy sources 60 KW and accumulators for saving and storing energy and through recovery system to be used for heating facilities and greenhouse; -Installation new irrigation system - Installing a 4-hectare irrigation system; -Investment in the small tractor and equipment and Transport vehicle 2 tons; -Two forklifts: one simple and one electric with battery; -Strengthen horizontal and vertical connections through contracting production to 20 farmers; -Ensuring equipment and facility for waste management; -Small greenhouse (500m2); -Implementation of hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP);

RESULTS:

-10 new employees; -Exports 160,000 EUR/per year; -Savings of energy 22,000 EUR; -Increased yield of the raspberry own production will be 20 MT/per year; -Fruits collected 250 MT per year; -20 of contracted farmers 20;
