PROJECT PURPOSES:

The purpose of this project is the construction of new three (3) kindergarten in Prishtinë/ Priština, Obiliq/Obilić (Mazgit), and Gjilan/ Gnjilane

ACTIVITIES:

Service Contract: Phase 1: Production of works tender documents Preparation of the finalized programme of the project that includes at least a presentation of the context, a list of the building's users, a detailed list of the space need, an analysis of the project's functional requirements illustrated by diagrams as necessary, definition of the level of the technical and architectural requirements (room size, ceiling height, natural lightening, acoustic, heating, ventilation, thermal insulation, electricity, fire aspects, energy efficiency measures, sound insulation etc). Phase 2: Works supervision The Supervisor shall act on behalf of the Contracting Authority as a Designated Supervisor on all site related matters and he will provide the coordination between the Works Contractor(s), the Contracting Authority and the Beneficiary. Works Contract: Construction of the Kindergarten located in: 1. Municipality of Prishtinë/ Priština. Specifically, the building is located in the Dardania neighbourhood on a plot of about 4,355.00 m2 2. Municipality of Obiliq/Obilić, Specifically, the building is located in the Mazgiti neighbourhood on a plot of about 5,497.00 m2 3. Municipality of Gjilan/ Gnjilane, Specifically, the building is located in the Arberia neighbourhood on a plot of about 3,264.00 m2

RESULTS:

Service Contract: The results of the contract requested by the Terms of Reference and directly relevant for the current reporting period are: “Competent supervision and effective coordination, ensuring the timely completion of all contractual works and related installation and commissioning activities, as per the provisions of the Tender Documents, Contracting Authority Requirements and in compliance with the TOR, to the full satisfaction of the Contracting Authority of the Service Contract and the Beneficiaries (Municipalities of Prishtinë/ Priština, Obiliq/Obilić (Mazgit), and Gjilan/ Gnjilane and Ministry of Education and Science - MES) Works Contract: Completion on time all works as per Tender Dossier for three (3) new Kindergarten. The building will have adequate playing and functional spaces for 120 children (in Prishtinë/ Priština) respectively 100 children (in Obiliq/Obilić and Gjilan/ Gnjilane) aged between 1 and 6 years old and proper working/ technical spaces for all the educational and administrative staff The kindergarten design program consists of three main parts:  Children spaces; classrooms, common areas,  Staff areas used by teachers and administrators,  Service areas used by people servicing the center. 1. Prishtinë/ Priština location net surfaces:  Total net surface of Ground Floor is: 842.20 m2  Total net surface of First Floor is: 714.10 m2  Playground area is 955.60 m2 2. Obiliq/Obilić (Mazgit) location net surfaces:  Total net surface of Ground Floor is: 791.10 m2  Total net surface of First Floor is: 624.10 m2  Playground area is 901.40 m2 Gjilan/ Gnjilane location net surfaces:  Total net surface of Ground Floor is: 731.40 m2  Total net surface of First Floor is: 721.10 m2  Playground area is 949.22 m2
