Social protection of most vulnerable groups of children - provision of comprehensive psychosocial, shelter and rehabilitation services
OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The overall objective of the action is to contribute on improving social wellbeing status of the vulnerable groups of children through provision of comprehensive community based services that would lead to strengthened social protection system able to meet the needs of the most vulnerable citizens.

PROJECT PURPOSES:
Better targeting of the needs of vulnerable children through provision of integrated and efficient psychosocial, rehabilitation and reintegration services through temporary sheltering, that central authorities or municipalities are not able to deliver themselves, while on the other side, generating demand for qualitative social services by involving community and parents/families of the vulnerable children, in promotion and advocacy activities, will altogether lead to an increased utilisation of the social services available from the CSOs, strengthening resilience of the social protection and ultimately improved social status of the vulnerable groups of children.
ACTIVITIES:
1. Provision of comprehensive psychosocial and rehabilitation services to children with disabilities. Services also, include home visiting support services and transportation of vulnerable children; 2. Provision of emergency sheltering for children in need for protection (victims of domestic violence, abused and neglected children, without parental care and children victims of human trafficking); 3. Advocacy and awareness raising activities, through support and capacity building to community, including parent associations.
RESULTS:
• At least 320 children with disabilities and 50 children in need for protection victims of domestic violence, abused and neglected children, children without parental care and children victims of human trafficking will benefit from the community based social service activities offered by four Day care Centres and one Children’s Shelter, in this action. • Communities, including families of children served, empowered to demand the right to quality and accessible social services for most vulnerable groups of children.
