PROJECT PURPOSES:

The main aim of the project is to support Kosovo's progress towards EU membership by strengthening the capacities of government institutions and civil society organizations in anti-corruption, public administration reform, and energy. Additionally, the project aims to raise public awareness and understanding of the EU accession process and to promote dialogue and cooperation among various stakeholders in Kosovo.

ACTIVITIES:

Component 1: Preparedness for EU accession negotiations Activity 1. RESULTS:

● Public accountability and civil society oversight of relevant public institutions on preparations for and engagement in EU membership negotiations enhanced; ● Level of information of public institutions, political decision-makers and other stakeholders on public perception regarding EU membership negotiations increased; ● Regular monitoring of preparations for EU membership negotiations carried out; ● Informed public discussion and decision-making on preparations for EU membership negotiations improved; ● Cooperation between government institutions and other stakeholders regarding membership negotiations strengthened; ● Public information and awareness regarding membership negotiations increased. ● Engage citizens in the sphere of EU membership and their inclusion. ● Public accountability and civil society oversight of public institutions in charge of implementation of the anti-corruption strategy. ● Regular monitoring of progress on implementation of the anti-corruption and energy strategies carried out; ● Informed public discussion and decision-making on implementation of these two strategies; ● Cooperation between government institutions and other stakeholders in areas of anti-corruption and energy strengthened; ● Public information and awareness on anti-corruption and energy and on their implementation increased.
