- Youth Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) (in total 30 CSOs), - Youth from Kosovo and Serbia (in total 100 with at least 50% women) - Multi-ethnic communities/local authorities in Serbia (10 communities - Subotica, Senta, Kanjiza, Kladovo, Bujanovac, Presevo, Medvedja, Novi Pazar, Tutin and Sjenica) and Kosovo (10 communities – Dragash, Prizren, Mamusha, Kaminca, Novo Brdo, Gracanica, Strpce, Obiliq, Klina and Fushe Kosove/Kosovo Polje), - Youth, women and ethnic groups (minorities) from Kosovo and Serbia (in total 150 with at least 50% women)

OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

To contribute in building a good neighbourly relation between Serbia and Kosovo through civil dialogue.

PROJECT PURPOSES:

Specific Objective 1. To provide support in establishment of cooperation of youth from Kosovo and Serbia in the areas of employment, education, environment and culture. Specific Objective 2. To provide support for active engagement in civil dialogue of youth, women and national minorities in multi-ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo.

ACTIVITIES:

Result/Component 1: Act 1.1. Forming Joint Partnership Council for supporting youth cooperation; Act 1.2. Implement outreach activities in Serbia and Kosovo to encourage youth organizations from Kosovo and Serbia for development of joint activities; Act 1.3. Public Call for youth CSOs from Kosovo and Serbia for proposals of joint activities in the areas of employment, education, environment and culture; Act 1.4. Selection process of proposals of joint activities of youth CSOs from Kosovo and Serbia; Act 1.5. Organisation of the capacity building in the area of civil dialogue of selected youth CSOs from Kosovo and Serbia; Act 1.6. Implementation of selected joint activities of CSOs in the areas of employment, education, environment and culture in communities in Serbia and Kosovo; Act 1.7. Monitoring and mentoring of youth CSOs in implementation of joint activities; Act 1.8. Organizing activities promoting common cultural heritage between Kosovo and Serbia; Act 1.9. Organisation of the conference on the topic “Youth employment, innovative forms of education and solidarity”; Act 1.10. Organisation of the joint action Green Agenda for cleaning of the Ibar river Act 1.11. Implement media and marketing campaign to promote supported joint activities of youth CSO’s in Serbia and Kosovo. Result/Component 2: Act 2.1. Signing a Memorandum of understanding for support in civil dialogue in multi-ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo; Act 2.2. Conducting research about situation of youth, women and ethnic minorities in selected communities in Serbia and Kosovo; Act 2.3. Organize round tables to present and discuss findings of the research; Act 2.4. Organize capacity building for civil dialogue of local stakeholders (local authorities, public institutions, community CSOs) through study visit to Serbia (Subotica, Senta and Zrenjanin) and Kosovo (Dragashu, Fushë Kosovë/Kosovo Polje and Novo Brdo); Act 2.5. Support joint activities in selected multi-ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo that contribute to active engagement of youth, women and ethnic minorities Act 2.6. Monitoring and mentoring of implementation of supported joint activities; Act 2.7. Implement media and marketing campaign to promote supported activities in multi-ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo; Act 2.8. Organize final conferences in Serbia and Kosovo to present the results of the supporting active engagement for civil dialogue in multi-ethnic communities.

RESULTS:

Result 1: Supported joint activities of at least 30 youth CSOs from Kosovo and Serbia in the areas of employment, education, environment and culture. Result 2: Encouraged active engagement for civil dialogue in 20 multi-ethnic communities in Serbia and Kosovo.
